How the server behaves in the usual certification cases, and what tests it.

| Invalid auth | 401 on missing, stale or bad signatures | live server test: signatures |
| Schema mismatch | 400 with the field named | live server test: schema, client input errors |
| Duplicate delivery | same transaction_id, applied once | live server test: win retries |
| Timeout and retry | bet: refund; win: retried with backoff | live server test: lost bets, win retries |
| Callback failure | 5xx retried until applied | live server test: win retries |
| Out of order | a refund for a bet you never saw: 200, no change | live server test: lost bets |
